Early Rounds - Play by dates

This competition shall comprise of 32 county based areas, each area will play down to an area winner. All 32 area winners will advance to the National Finals.  

Counties with a high number of entries may be split into two areas.

Counties with a low number of entries may be paired with a neighbouring county to form an area. 

National Finals - Schedule

The last 32 will compete in the National finals over Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th August 2023

Duplications at National Finals

By entering Bowls England National Competitions you have agreed to the following should duplications occur at the National Finals:

Priority will be given to players in National Championship

 

Players in the following events will be accommodated where time and green availability permits:

  • Champion of Champions
  • Family Pairs

 

Should clashes occur involving any of the following events teams will be required to provide substitutes:

  •   All Inter-County Competitions
  •   All Inter-Club Competitions
  •   National Mixed Pairs
  •   National Mixed Fours
  •   Senior Pairs

 

Please be aware that Regional Finals may need to be introduced after the Bowls England AGM in February 2023. Click here for more information.
