Boy's Under 18' Singles Competition

To be played over the weekend of Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa

 

Saturday - Round Robin play in groups of three (two games subject to entry numbers)

Sunday Programme > Boy's Under 18s Singles & Boy's Under 18s Singles Plate Competition

Entry Fee: FREE entry

Subject to full number of entries the following format will apply:

Qualifying Stage - Saturday 10th May 2025

• Two sets of 5 ends (Four bowls each player)

Play will start at 9:30am

Competitors will be placed into groups each competitor playing two matches (subject to maximum entries being received).

At the end of the qualifying stage the group winners will qualify for the main event on Sunday 11th May, the group runners up will be placed into the plate competition on Sunday 11th May. Third place competitors will be knocked out and will not progress any further.

Each competitor will play a mininum of one game. 

Main Event

• Round One > Final - Knockout - 7 ends with a 3 end tie break if required

 

Plate Competition - Last 32 - Knockout

• Round One > Final - Knockout - 7 ends with a 3 end tie break if required

 

The top men’s performer from the Main Event will be invited to represent England in this year’s British Isles Men’s Under 18 Singles in Llandrindod Wells, Wales, on Tues 24th & Wed 25th June 2025. 

 

Please note the following event will be on in Leamington whist this tournament takes place:

• Circus Fantasia on the 10th & 11th of May. (the full event is from the 10th – 20th)
